The year 2010 marks an exciting year for us. This is the year we decided to take a step of faith to see ourselves engage in something greater for the cause of the kingdom of God. It is with much passion and anticipation that we are now poised to launch out in faith on a new spiritual journey we call: “Possessing the Land”."Possessing the Land" is a God-ordained. And we are thrilled as we begin the preparation for this journey. It will require greater sacrifices for our local body here at Chicago City Blessing Church. This challenge calls us to rise up in faith and take steps of action to acquire and occupy a new worship facility.It is our goal within the next two years to raise financial resources that will position us to enlarge our ministry vision and capabilities through the acquisition of the worship facility. We also plan to minimize and payoff any debt associated with the acquisition as soon as possible. It will require every member in this local body of believers to work together as a team to fulfill this vision.

We believe God wants to prove how great He is once again. We have seen His faithfulness to this body of believers, and we know that He will extend His grace once again as we pursue this dream. Your support and prayers are important for us as we continue to advance the works of God’s kingdom in this city. As you review the material in this packet, we would like to ask you to ask for God’s direction for your involvement.
