Chicago City Blessing Church, is part of City Blessing Church Worldwide that currently has reached and is serving students, working people, and families in over 23 cities and 10 states in the United States, Canada, and Indonesia. City Blessing Worldwide was started in the early 1980s out of a major revival among Indonesian Students in California. Leaders of the US church returned to Indonesia and in 1989 established churches in Indonesia.Chicago City Blessing Church is an inter-denominational church that welcomes Christians of all religious denominations and ethnic groups. Its religious practices, doctrines of faith, and beliefs are based on those of the Evangelical Christian branch of Christianity. As a local body of Christ that believes in the Great Commission, we also welcome people of all ethnic backgrounds to attend and participate in church services.We take it as positive challenge and opportunity for growth to become a church that has the heart to reach out and serve not only the Indonesian community but also the local community at large. In recent years we have expanded our efforts to provide English services both in our regular worship service and children ministry.Chicago City Blessing Church is a bona fide non-profit religious organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. Its principal office is currently located at 447 Arboretum Dr., Lombard, IL, 60148.
